The inspiration behind the design came to me while flying into Cape Town from New York. As the airplane turned and Table Mountain and the Atlantic shoreline came into view in the window, I became emotional. I realized how unique Cape Town is from any other city in the world. I wondered how we could share Cape Town’s unique beauty with the world. I wondered how we could get people talking about Cape Town and invite the world to experience it.
